Blue jays are so much fun as long as they aren't eating you out of house and feed! One winter I was hostess to a flock of forty of them. Much as I love all the birds, they could have moved on and not hurt my feelings. I too was feeding them a few peanuts. One day, I tied a peanut around the middle with a piece of dental floss attached to a branch. The jays tried repeatedly to take off with the peanut only to get haulded back. It was very funny! In that same flock was a regular that had porcupine quills stuck in its face. I got lots of pics of that, too. Very interesting, though common birds. Nice post
Amazing shots SLH, as usual :)
